The cost of a 6-month policy is the lowest I've been able to find. Every other insurer has yet to match or beat it. It came with a little more coverage than any other insurer has offered. Although they give you a discount for initiating Easy Drive, which monitors one's driving and driving habits, the app is so messed up (as in making outrageous claims of unsafe driving), I know I cannot expect them to offer to continue the discount or increase it at the end of the term when the app makes a report, or they review the driving data collected. The app is NOT trustworthy because of its flawed and erroneous assumptions. I could not believe it admonished my driving because it found an app open on my phone. "Yeah, the app Easy Drive which they insist one have open during trips," so that it can take in and record the data. Easy Drive is a joke. When I read the first report I looked at, I wondered if the report stated what it stated so that I would be found ineligible for a continued discount. After reading a couple of other reports, I am convinced this tongue-in-cheek accusation of mine to be a fact. My driving record is, after 45 years of driving, immaculate. Yet insurance companies want nearly 500 USD or more for a 6-month STATE MINIMUMS LIABILITY ONLY policy. I have proven that I am not a liability to them. When are insurers going to appreciate me for that?

I would say don't do it! They are increasing my liability and uninsured motorist coverage for a 2005 Nissan Sentra. I'm 57 years old with no tickets or accidents, and yet I'm paying over $170 for not full coverage! It went up! I'm looking for another insurance company.

Geico Is Not Cost Efficient

I have used Geico since 2006 on and off, and this will be my last time. They are notorious for raising my premium every renewal time. This very month I paid $188.00, and my renewal for March is $244.47—a fifty-six dollar a month increase on a 2022 Chevrolet Trax. I am on a dire fixed income and cannot afford this. I will never use Geico again. I need cheap insurance with full coverage.

The good thing is that they are available when you have questions. The bad thing is when one of two cars is canceled. The difference was only 1 dollar lower on just one car, which made me think having a second full coverage car only cost a dollar. I did not understand getting charged for 2 cars for 2 months when I only had 1 car and the second was canceled. There was no reimbursement for the extra, and the difference in the premium was unclear.
